Response to mitigate the negative impact on vulnerable groups affected by the conflict in Ukraine through the distribution of non-food items.

Project Duration: until 14.08.2023

There are over 5 million internally displaced persons in Ukraine. The eastern region has the highest percentage of people who have relocated within their own region compared to other regions. The project focuses on activities in Zaporizhzhia and its surrounding areas.

To identify the most vulnerable populations living in difficult circumstances, a needs assessment will be conducted, and specific criteria will be established.

Assistance will be available to people facing difficult life circumstances, internally displaced persons, children (including those without parental care), the elderly, people with disabilities, those affected by gender-based violence, those affected by domestic violence, and other vulnerable groups.

Monitoring and evaluation specialists from the Charitable Foundation “Posmishka UA” will conduct community needs assessments through interviews. Representatives of local authorities will also be involved in the assessment process.

The project is implemented by the Charitable Foundation “Posmishka UA” in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), with funding from the European Union, the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, and the Government of Canada.
