“The Future is in Your Hands”: A Support Program for Small Businesses Launches in Dnipropetrovsk Communities

Charity Foundation “Posmishka UA” and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Announce the Launch of a New Micro-Grant Program, “The Future is in Your Hands”

The program aims to restore communities affected by military actions and will be implemented in 2024-2025 in the Lychkivska and Chernechchynska communities of the Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

The initiative’s goal is to stimulate the development of local businesses and support entrepreneurs by providing financial and educational assistance. Participants will have access to training on business planning, accounting, legal consultations, and other forms of support to help them start or expand their businesses.

The program plans to award grants to 100 households for expanding existing businesses, launching new ventures, and developing franchises or the agricultural sector. This initiative is expected to enhance the region’s economic stability, create new jobs, and promote sustainable community development.

“The ‘The Future is in Your Hands’ program offers people the opportunity to become financially independent and foster the growth of their communities,” said Kateryna Syzonenko-Hlazieva, Project Manager at the “Smile UA” Foundation.
