The “Be Here” project
Project “Be Here” is now in Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi regions of Ukraine ✨
💡 Our key areas of work:
- Supporting and equipping 23 temporary shelters.
- Establishing 2 facilities for people with disabilities.
- Providing individual assistance to the most vulnerable groups: adults, children, elderly people, and people with disabilities.
- Psychosocial support to overcome stress and adapt to new conditions.
Over 110 professionals – social workers, psychologists, facilitators, and lawyers – have joined forces to create an effective assistance system.
The goal of the project: Providing support to internally displaced persons through an individual approach to help them restore a dignified standard of living in a new location, with a focus on the most vulnerable groups: adults, children, elderly people, and people with disabilities.
Support for children and adults:
- Psychosocial support
- Consultations on mental health issues
- Relaxation sessions
- Art classes, active games, physical exercises, and activities to develop thinking and maintain physical fitness
- A friendly atmosphere and a safe circle of communication

The “Posmishka UA” Charitable Foundation is implementing the project “Multisectoral Support and Equipping of Temporary Shelters, Full Renovation of Supported Living Facilities, Ensuring Comfortable Living with Social Care, and Providing Individual Support to People with Disabilities and the Most Vulnerable Groups” with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine.
