Mobile Teams for Social and Psychological Assistance

The mobile teams provide free social and psychological support to individuals regardless of gender or community status, serving both local residents and internally displaced persons (IDPs). They operate in a format of emergency response and counseling.

What do the mobile teams do?

  • Provide psychological support to individuals affected by gender-based violence.
  • Respond to reports of violence, including through crisis and emergency intervention.
  • Inform victims about available medical, legal, and other services to help overcome the effects of violence and direct them to service providers, including general or specialized support services (shelters, crisis rooms, day centers, etc.).
  • Clarify the rights of victims and the options for receiving assistance.
  • Conduct awareness and informational activities.

Each mobile team consists of:

  • Two specialists (a psychologist and a social worker).
  • A driver with a vehicle.

The main advantage of these teams is their mobility, allowing them to respond quickly and effectively to a victim’s request. This ensures timely identification of cases of violence, provision of social and psychological support to those in need, and referral to other services when necessary.

Consultations with victims are scheduled individually (it is recommended to confirm times by phone with mobile team staff).
