Preparation for Winter 2024-2025: About the Project

The “Posmishka UA” Charitable Foundation, with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), is implementing the project “Preparation for Winter 2024-2025”. The goal of this project is to assist vulnerable groups in preparing for the winter season by providing necessary heating supplies or compensating for the purchase of heating materials or utility payments.

As part of the project, beneficiaries in 4 regions of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk) will receive the following types of assistance:

  • Distribution of solid fuel (briquettes) in kind – for residents of Petro-Mykhailivska community in Zaporizhzhia region.
  • Cash payments for the purchase of solid fuel – for residents of Mykhailivska community (Zaporizhzhia region), Apostolivska community (Dnipropetrovsk region), and Bilozerska community (Donetsk region).
  • Cash payments to compensate for thermal energy supply payments – in Zaporizhzhia city (Zaporizhzhia region), Kharkiv city (Kharkiv region), Bilozerska and Dobropilska communities (Donetsk region), and Apostolivska and Zelenodolska communities (Dnipropetrovsk region).

These communities were selected with the support of the Shelter and Non-Food Items (SNFI) Cluster.

We emphasize that having the status of an internally displaced person (IDP) is a mandatory requirement for receiving humanitarian assistance.

Humanitarian assistance is provided free of charge by the “Posmishka UA” Charitable Foundation with funding from the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine.
