Building the Resilience of War-Affected Communities in Ukraine
The agricultural grants project is aimed at supporting small farming households in Matviivska community, Zaporizhzhia region. Financial assistance will help families in difficult circumstances to enhance their economic resilience and generate income in the future.
How to obtain an agricultural grant for your household?
For whom?
- Your family must reside in Matviivska community, Zaporizhzhia region (local residents or registered IDPs).
Requirements for households:
- Land plot area: from 0.1 to 10 hectares – owned or leased.
- Agriculture must be the primary source of income for the household.
What is the grant amount?
- The equivalent of 870 euros in hryvnia (the funds will be transferred to the personal bank account of the applicant).
What can the grant funds be used for?
- Purchase of seeds, fertilizers, and fuel.
- Purchase of agricultural animals and/or poultry.
- Purchase of equipment.
- Other expenses related to farming activities.

As of December 13, 2024, the preliminary registration form will be closed due to the large number of preliminary applications received for grant assistance.
However, you still have the opportunity to personally contact registrars in your community, according to their schedule, until December 25, 2024 (inclusive).

Registration will continue until December 31, 2024. To clarify the schedule, you can call:

6. When will the funds be transferred?
The funds will be transferred by February 28, 2025.
Priority criteria for support:
Households that meet the following vulnerability criteria:
- Households headed by women;
- Households with persons with disabilities;
- Households managed by elderly individuals (60+ years);
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- Single parents, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women;
- Large families;
- War veterans.
Economically vulnerable households:
- The average monthly income per family member does not exceed 6,300 UAH;
- Income from agriculture does not exceed 10,000 UAH per person and is the primary source of income.
