Health care: psychosocial support and mental health

The “Posmishka UA” Foundation implements comprehensive programs aimed at improving mental health and providing psychosocial support to the population, especially in crisis and stressful situations.

By offering psychological support and counseling to adults and children, we help them cope with traumatic events and stressful situations. Individuals can participate in group sessions, engage in both structured and unstructured psychosocial support activities, receive individual consultations, and benefit from comprehensive social support from the foundation’s specialists to help them navigate crises and improve their physical, psychological, and mental well-being.

In particular, we provide psychosocial support to adults, children, and their families, as well as to people affected by armed conflict, internally displaced persons, and those in difficult life circumstances.

We help strengthen the psychological support system by conducting training for parents, guardians, youth, and professionals in helping professions on providing first psychological aid and self-help in crisis situations.

We also run mental health and psychosocial support awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and raise public awareness.
